0:00I'm burnt out from dealing with people all day. I run a small business, the money's solid, but I spend all my day, all my time dealing with stubborn clients. Today I snapped and ended a collaboration with one of my biggest clients. I'm seriously consider considering on selling the business and switching fields. I'm looking for something that involves far less people interaction. What would you do in my situation? >> These are two separate problems, the fact that you lost a big customer and the fact that you want to start a new business are just completely separate things. If you want to sell the business, sell the business.

0:31If you lost a customer, go get another customer. But one is not the reason for the other. And I actually think this happens a lot with business owners like you have a bad day, whatever that version of bad day is for you, you decide to just like pull the nuclear button and this is how people just start a second business and a third business all because they could not sit with the emotional discomfort of the present moment and decided to try and take action in a way to alleviate their emotion rather than to do what is right for the business. I would just go get another customer and double down on my efforts. If I for other reasons like the base assumptions, the opportunity size that I'm going after is significantly larger than the opportunity set that I'm that I have right now, then maybe I'd make the jump. But I definitely wouldn't let a customer be the reason that I I quit something that I spent years to build.
