0:00One man's weird perspective. Uh, where do beginners begin? By creating capacity. So, that is basically learn the habits of work. So, go to sleep early, uh, get a full night's sleep, um, work out so that you can, you know, get in shape when you're younger if you can do it because, like, it's much easier to stay in shape than it is to get in shape. And if you're not sure what to do, it's a good time to do it. Um, and I think the vast majority of the rest of your time is going to be learning. Now, what's interesting is that there's first-hand learning and second-hand learning. When you haven't done anything yet, you can't really have first-party knowledge. Um, so you do a lot of second-party knowledge. So, like, you're listening to my stuff so I can say, "Hey, let me give you this experience so that you don't have to spend all this time." And so, functionally, you're trying to get a good return on time. So, it's like if I can show you how to sell in 8 hours and it doesn't take you 8 months, then it's a good return on time.
0:46Um, but at the most basic level, you need to let people know about your stuff, um, and then the stuff being usually, if you're starting out, a service or something that you can do for them that they don't want to do, uh, they don't have time to do, or they don't have the knowledge to do. Right? So, there's kind of the three types of services that it starts out. So, they don't know how to do it, they don't want to do it, or they don't have time to do it. And so, those are the three categories. Pick the one that you want, and then do that for somebody else in exchange for money. Um, and that's basically all you have to do to start a business. And I would encourage you, especially if you're starting out, to start a business like that because it's the highest cash flow because it's you trading time for money.
1:16Um, and you'll learn a lot of core skills. And I would just completely ignore the people who tell you, "Don't trade time for money." Everyone trades time for money. Let me prove it to you. Uh, you expend seconds of life every second you're alive, and you receive money over that time period. So, you have time that goes out and money that comes in. And so, it's just that over time, you don't want to necessarily denote your pricing in hourly rates, but you absolutely might spend 5 hours on a client's project that you sold for a thousand bucks. Right? And ideally, you want to sell it towards the goal of the customer, not to get too advanced. But at the most basic level, let them know about your Usually, it's going to be something they don't want to do, don't have time to do, or don't know how to do. Do one of those three things for them in exchange for money, and then do it as many times as you can until you have no one to give you more time. And then at that point, you probably mispriced, which means you probably need to raise your price. Then, when you raise your price, you'll make more money, and then you can use that extra money to go get help and start scaling. If you like this video and you're a business owner who wants to break through your current revenue ceiling, I just sold every lesson from scaling 10 businesses past 10 million and three businesses past 100 million into a completely free scaling road map that I've used to go from zero to one, zero to 10, and zero to 100 plus. And so, you can click here and you can check it out. Again, absolutely free. And since you're a business owner, I appreciate you and enjoy.
