0:00Dude, this is Will. I run a run a company that does virtual assistance for healthcare businesses and there's a ton of feedback on my line. >> We've lots of feedback on his line. So, sorry Will. We'll we'll do the best we can. >> Hey, no worries. So, I'm doing 7 million this year if I add nothing else to my business and we are getting almost all my leads from speaking at events. >> Mhm. >> And so, for me what's been great as because I've been working with you guys in Vantage, I have So, they're hiring my CEO replacement, I've been able to start developing my price raises and just everything in terms of my margins are improving.
0:39But, the problem is is that right now my growth is capped by my schedule >> Mhm. >> and I hit the same like industry events for the past couple of years and they're starting to dry out a little bit. >> Mhm. >> So, for me what would be really useful is trying to decide if I can find bigger, newer stages, or virtual stages, or maybe my own stages or any other avenue to create leads so that it's not capped by my calendar.
1:05>> And this is I mean this is healthcare, right? >> Yeah. >> I mean, I feel like there's a lot of healthcare conferences, no? >> True. True. There are a ton but I am hyper focused on my avatar who's an owner of a PT, OT, SLP practice that has five locations or so. >> Mhm. >> So, those are the customers that buy and repeat. They'll buy two, then five, then 20 VAs.
1:30>> Yeah. So, I think I mean, there's the there's the the obvious like more better. Like, can we find better stages? But, I'm not going to go down that path cuz you already know that. Um I think the like call like the 10x move, you know what I mean? Like, the move that's like the order of magnitude move that probably unlocks things for you is I think you would probably really well served learning to run a webinar. And so, I think because Andromeda and Meta Ads have gotten so good in terms of targeting that if you just said, "Hey, and what do you say OTE what was it OTE what was the the type of
2:01>> Yeah occupational therapist physical therapist and speech therapist. >> Okay great. So I would literally make an ad that would just say like hey if you're an occupational therapist or physical therapist or whatever and you've got five or more locations like I would I'm running a virtual thing I'm I'm will all I do is specialize in XYZ you're probably suffering from these pains and the good news is like you can get out of it and you can do it in less than 60 days I'll walk you through the whole process for free on the webinar you just basically show them what's possible of like the types of things that are getting automated so rather than like like let me show you how we do this like that's really boring but just show like 10 different use cases of like things they're doing that are painful that and a virtual assistant could handle and then basically the the last half of it is kind of like all the classic FAQs that they're going to come up with like how are they do they speak English are they going to be well trained is it going to be a pain to manage how do I even pay these people are they technically employed all the stuff that you normally have like that would come up and I think that if you just ran meta ads with those kind of clear call outs in the beginning meta and Andromeda will basically find those people and bring them to the webinar and then basically you can soft pitch a call and I would say like I would probably pitch some sort of like savings assessment for free which is like if you just show us your growth rate and your current payroll we'll show you what you could be saving it would be dropping to your bottom line with increases like this isn't just swap what you have for someone for less this is get someone who's better for less and who can work some of your leads you know like you know what I mean it's like no one wants to get sold just for less it's like this is better than what you have and costs less it's like you want both and so I think that that's like cuz then you kind of own the stage right and then you can you can scale this thing to the you know to the moon
3:50>> Dude let's go so it's cool because I love this idea of being able to just add infinite webinars because I had one webinar last month, it was one of the few that I do, and I cleaned up at it. >> Yeah. That presentation that you gave in person >> that piece of it. >> That presentation that you gave in person, you can more or less give online. The only difference I would say is that the first like you're going to have to be really crisp at the beginning. >> Yeah.
4:16>> But that's about it, man. Like you already do pitch from stages, we're just taking you from in person to online, and the only concern that you'll have in the beginning is just um uh what am I uh is targeting, right? But because of Andromeda, like the target >> I don't know that world. >> Yeah, yeah. The targeting is going to be much easier there because it's going to be in the creative itself. And you make content, don't you? >> Oh, yeah. I have dozens of followers, remember?
4:42>> Dozens of followers. So, I would take your best-performing content as your first 20 ads that I would start with. Um and then just put a CTA >> Okay. >> at the end. So, basically, have the have the ad or have the content, and then just film like a 5-second by the way, like I'm doing a webinar on this thing. I just spoke at this this this, and people had to pay to be there. I'll give it to you for free, just show up. That actually has real value um because people had to pay to be at those events he spoke at, right? >> Yeah.
5:09>> Right. So, it's like I'm giving you something that other people had to pay for for free, so there's a bargain there. Um and you can do it from the convenience of your home. And then I would do a second version of each of those that would have just have a text overlay that's like a banner that doesn't even include uh uh a kind of a cut-in CTA from you at the end. So, that'll probably be my first like 20 to 40 ads. Um and I would also put a banner across the top that says "Occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech therapist" um so that they know like it's for them. That's probably what I would do from the ad strategy. And then it's literally a simple opt-in page, you send them a Zoom link with reminders.
5:39That's it. >> Dude, that is so epic. What about using partnerships in my industry with other B2B companies that I know? >> I think you totally can. I think it's either would work. I would say pick one. Like either say, "I'm going to do virtual stages." or I'm going to go basically turn outreach on and reach out to all these B2B providers. Honestly, both will work cuz I think you could get the B2B providers to love you just cuz your personality. I think you'll win either way. Which one do you feel more comfortable with? I'll just say that.
6:08>> Webinars because for me, I've as a company has grown, there a lot of potential relationships with these other partnerships, but I feels more taking for me. And so, I could leverage those. I think it'd be great just to be independent and create my webinars and feel like I'm on my own. >> I do think that as we walk down this path, we will end up pursuing the B2B thing and we'll probably think like I want to think more with you on like how to I would want to break the belief that it's tacky because if you're serving their customers and it's helping the customers make more money, they'll spend more money with the B2B partner. And so, I would like I would push back on that piece.
6:42Um but I would say pick either one will work. Just do the one that you feel more comfortable with. Cuz the B2B offer is straightforward. Like it's already to your network. Like if I had think like what is the highest likelihood thing that will work cuz you're there's no tech. B2B, if you just have the offer, which is just simply like, "Hey, our practices make this much more. Your services cost X. By the introduction, they could always pay for your thing, no problem." And what I would want to go for is how can I get integrated into their sales their sales motion? So, it's like you don't want to do like a webinar with them. I mean, you could do it as the first one kind of like the launch that integrate model that I talked about in the Leads book.
7:19But the the long-term Nirvana is they sell their thing and then they plug you in so that they can basically justify the cost. >> I see. Yeah, that would be great cuz I do have a lot of connections at my event this last weekend. We had 16 companies sponsoring it and all of them killed. So, I think there's some goodwill there that I could reach out to and it would feel like I'm >> If I did to order of ops, I would do the B2B partnership first because it takes no tech and I would just start with like two and just like heavily focus on it.
7:50E Like I said, either the strategies will work. I do like the B2B just because you don't like you already have the connections, you already have the relationship. They made money from you already. So it's like they're already, you know, 80% of the way there. You just say, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool to do make more money like that? Here's how we could do it. Here's how I'd position it." >> So how did they make money on those webinars? The first way you're saying that that would be both of us together? >> No, they would make money in in that their customers would make more profit, which they could spend with them. That's how I'd frame it.
8:19>> I see. >> So are they recurring revenue businesses? >> Oh, sorry. Go ahead. >> Are they recurring revenue businesses? >> Uh most of them, yeah. >> Yeah, so I would just say, "Listen, on the first phone call you'll say, 'Hey, want to introduce you to your partner of ours who will decrease your payroll cost so that all of our stuff's basically free.'" >> Oh, okay. Awesome. >> Right. That way you don't have to worry about this as an expense anymore.
8:44That's how I'd pitch it. >> Dude, that is so epic. And it's cool because I just was with these guys last weekend. There's a lot of like connection and buzzing. So it would be very natural. >> Yeah, this would be the time to do it. Um but yeah, has Vantage been worth it? >> Dude, game changing again. I kid you not. This is an answer to a prayer right now. >> Awesome, man. I appreciate you. Thanks for being the man. >> You too. I'll talk to you then. >> All right, see you.
9:10If you're a business owner and you are not growing as fast as you like, I'd like to give you a free gift. So my team and I put together the $100 million scaling road map, which is basically 200 hours of us looking over all the portfolio companies we've had and what stages of growth they went through and more importantly where they got stuck and how they got past it. And so we broke it into these 10 stages and we made this little kind of quiz thing where if you put in your business information, it'll tell you where you're at and the most important part for you, what to do for each of functions of business across product, marketing, sales, customer success, recruiting, IT, human resources, and finance. And so, no matter what you're struggling with, someone else has already struggled with it and solved it. And so, I'd like to give you this thing absolutely free. You go to acquisition.com/roadmap, plug in your business information, and if you want us to actually help you deconstruct the business and you're trying to scale, we'd love to help you out. On the thank you page, you can just book a call with my team, and we will look at the business, see if we can help, and if we can, we'll invite you out to Vegas, and we'll do this in person live.
