How do you stay away from the allure of the things that come with being popular like going to UFC events, going to sporting events, giving TV interviews, attending parties, hanging with celebrities, etc. Um I think that you have to in order for I reject the premise because I don't find those things alluring.
0:30And so um I like the life that I have. Um if those were things that were alluring to me, then I would do more of them. Uh they just weren't. Um I'll share something that Palmer Lucky said that I I tend to resonate with, which is like the type of person who makes a billion dollars is also the type of person that never enjoys a billion dollars uh drinking mai tais on the beach. He said it's very rare of all the billion dollar guys he knows. Um there's something different about the way that they operate in the world. Not necessarily it's better or worse, it's just different. Um and so the type of person who says, "Man, if I had a billion dollars, why why would I keep working? I would you know, I'd be drinking pina coladas." is usually that type of worldview and character trait is not one that is conducive to making a billion dollars.
