0:00Hey, Alex. >> Yeah. >> You guys have changed our lives. Owner-operator sort of stuck in a golden handcuffs situation. So, the question would be around strategy. I think it's a who issue. Duplicating myself. Mobile scratch chip repair, automotive restoration kind of stuff. >> All right. >> Right? So, I think you can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the issue might be the source for the skilled labor.
0:30And I think I need to really improve on training, leadership, all that kind of stuff. So, the next couple questions would be like, all right, what's the next What's the next step for somebody like me who's you know, we I I can We've run the numbers a couple times. We can deliver and fulfill on this thing comfortably at like 20% and have like 80% gross margins to be able to play around with. So, there's I I think there's room in there. Like I'm I'm a total amateur and my LTV to CAC is around 8 to 1.
0:57>> All right. >> So, it's I think there's something here and we can really improve this, but anyway, it's more of a strategy question, I think. >> So, what is the strategy question? >> I think it's the who. Like I don't know I don't know how to get out of the golden handcuffs. Like what What's the thing that I need to do to break the symmetry? >> What are you doing that no one else can do? >> [sighs] >> Really nothing. I mean, I'm not that special as far as like
1:25>> Well, then what are you What do you do What are you spending the most amount of your time on? >> Actually fulfilling. >> Okay, so then teach somebody else to fulfill and then go get more customers. >> Cool. Thank you. >> Yeah. Be here all week. Um senior real estate real estate broker. Um I'm going to give you a a slightly more thorough answer, um and then I'll get to the next question.
1:48So, if you're thinking about this, it's like you either have some sort of rev split. You have some sort of equity deal or you partner. And so, you know, or you get acquired.
2:11And so, like, if I were to call Turo up and say, "Hey, I can get you 6,000 agents a year, what kind of stock options can you offer me?" There'd probably be a very attractive deal there. If I said, "Hey, uh you know, agencies or whatever, um I want a back-end split on these guys in order to be exclusive to your area."
2:35Whatever. Or I could start um I could I mean, the stock options version of that is a really big one would just acquire you. If they're medium-sized, you do some sort of like swap or whatever. And then, this one is you just start your own. Or you just find somebody who has a brokerage that is smaller than yours and say, like, "Let's blow this up." And somebody who has experience scaling. >> So, I have a brokerage as well.
3:00>> You Okay, then what are we doing? So, then what's So, why aren't you just giving yourself 6,000 agents? >> Um cuz I can't. >> Okay, well, then I would be like, "Okay, I have this really valuable machine. I'm not going to give it to all my competition." I'd be like, "I need to hire an operator so I can take on all these new new brokers or new uh agents." You have a super valuable thing.
3:30>> [laughter] >> Yeah, there's a lot of plays, but that put more meat to it. >> Okay. >> All right, next one. >> That's a long one. >> Yeah. >> Awesome. >> Yeah, I'm going to stay up tonight and be like, "Why is he not making more money?"
