Second off, I remember thinking that because like it's normal to not want to keep moving when no [music] one's cheering for you. Cuz the reality is that people only root for other people like two times. [music] At the beginning, when you start, and at the end, when you finish. The problem is neither is when [music] you need it. So, you have to master the middle, the boring, soul-crushing, unending, relentless

Like the starting [music] gun's exciting, it has balloons, everyone's there with you, and it's like, "I'm going to start this thing, right?" And then there's nothing. There's just nothing [music] for 26 miles, just nothing. And then at the very end, you've got more balloons and more people. But [music] that's where the winning happens. The winning happens on your own.
