I was like, "Yeah, it's just you know, I had a good weekend." She was like, "I'm pretty sure the secret happiness is living as many days in a row like that as you can." And that was like the closest to operationalizing kind of joy that I'd ever heard. And so, I have just stuck with that. I like working. When I looked back on the days that I enjoyed most, they had three things in common. I worked out, I ate with people that I liked, and I worked hard and had something to show for it. Once I realized that those were the days that I enjoyed the most, then I made it my goal to live as many of those days in a row as I could.
