0:00I'm a content creator. I sell attention to platforms. >> your stuff, man. >> Thank you so much. That means the world to me. Um I do 350k a year in revenue. >> Oh, >> And I would like to be at I don't know, 5 million, 10 million over a long time. I'm prepared for this to >> Yeah. >> Um my question is which one do I pick? Or really how do how do I decide I don't even know. How do I decide? >> So, um unfortunately, the question that you're asking is one that only you can answer because what you're asking is what do I want?

0:30And so like obviously I can't tell you what to want. It's also the same type of question of like should I push or should I pivot? It's an eternally personal question. Um same with how much risk should I be willing to take? It's entirely you. Um do you have any idea what you want? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> So, I would generally take whichever one I think has more potential upside. >> Mhm. >> And it's closer to my long-term goal. >> You want to build a media business. I mean, functionally, it's what it sounds like. >> To some degree, yeah. >> Um well, you can build a media business that just survives off media. I mean, I I like media businesses for a variety of reasons. The biggest one is that it is unique in one way compared to every other business, which is that its promotion and its delivery are the same.

1:08So, you making more videos is the delivery to your advertisers and also lets more advertisers know about your stuff, which I think is very elegant. It's also has unlimited uh leverage. If you're saying I'm only accepting ad revenue, is that on a principles thing? >> I think that the thing that's most important to me is like I want trust. >> But like no one's upset when Apple releases another product. People are upset if a product sucks. And so as long as you like the number one rule of marketing that we have is state the fact and tell the truth. And if the truth and the facts are not compelling, then change reality so that they are. Do I think you doing a brand deals about brands you believe in or having what I would consider be low-lift monetizations, um both of those are fine as long as you just don't promise things that you don't feel comfortable promising. And I think if you could just do that as like the one takeaway, I think that would change a lot for you.

1:57>> Okay. Thank you so much.
