0:009. How do you crank out so much content that it becomes unreasonable for me not to see Okay. Do you have a team? Yes, I have a team. >> [laughter] >> Um they're behind the camera right now. How do we do it? You need to make it easy and convenient for you to capture rather than manufacture content. So, the easiest thing to do for any business owner is that you capture you delivering your services to customers. So, you probably deliver services, any service business owner does, which is 78% of businesses. And so, every time you're servicing a customer, we should be capturing that. And when you capture that, that becomes content. That becomes ads. And it becomes case studies. It becomes marketing collateral.
0:36And so, since you are working all day every day, the easiest way to start is just start with what you're currently doing and capture that. And the only thing that's called the 201 version of that is, "Okay, yeah, but no one's interested in that." Of course, no one's interested in the whole thing. What you want to do is compress what 6 weeks of work with a client looks like into 60 seconds. That's the value. The format is the value. What you're looking for is winning formats. And so, it's basically like, "Where do I set up the cameras and recordings to capture the moments?" And this is the keyword, like double underline highlight. You want moments.
1:07No one can see 6 weeks of a project, but they can see the moments. And so, we want to know, "What are the key moments of this customer's journey?" Probably when they sign up, probably when they get onboarded, probably their first milestone, probably a halfway point, maybe at the end. Great, that's five moments. Can I compress that into a 60-second video? Yeah. Can I do a case study video where I break down a 6-week project into 16 minutes? Probably. Right? So, it's like you need to take better notes on what your customers are doing. That would be the what manufacture, right? Is that you take what you did and then you talk about it.
1:33But you can also just capture instead of manufacturing and get way more content. That's how we do so much. Is that I'm not actually making content the vast majority of I'm making content, I'm just talking. If you're a business owner and you're not growing as fast as you'd like, I'd like to give you a free gift. So, my team and I put together the $100 million scaling roadmap, which is basically 200 hours of us looking over all the portfolio companies we've had and what stages of growth they went through and more importantly, where they got stuck and how they got past it. And so we broke it in these 10 stages, and we made this little kind of quiz thing where if you put in your business information, it'll tell you where you're at, and the most important part for you, what to do for each of functions of the business across product, marketing, sales, customer success, recruiting, IT, human resources, and finance. And so, no matter what you're struggling with, someone else has already struggled with it and solved it. And so I'd like to give you this thing absolutely free. You can go to acquisition.com/roadmap, plug in your business information, and if you want us to actually help you deconstruct in the business, and you're trying to scale, we'd love to help you out. On the thank you page, you can book a call with my team, and we will look at your business, see if we can help, and if we can, we'll invite you out to Vegas, and we'll do this in person, live.
