Was du mitnimmst

0:00The thing with excuses that's interesting is that they may be valid. And I think that's the part that people struggle with is that they're like, "Yeah, obviously results matter more excuses, but insert special snowflake." The thing is is that like you might be right, and I just like this quote from Ila. She says, "It's not your fault, but it is still your problem. You still have to do something about it. Or you can just wait and say, you know what? I'm going to continue to not live the life that I want until I die." And everyone will be like, "Oh yeah, he had an excuse. That's why, right?" Is that what like is that what you really want? Is that people were like, "Yeah, he had an excuse."
0:44Like that's it. Like it's a weird thing to want a permission slip for mediocrity, which is fundamentally what excuses are. You just want permission from everyone else to still get respect without the outcome. because of your extenduating circumstances. And the thing is is there's a ton of allure, but the only person who actually believes that is you. People might not along. The people who love you might say, "Yeah, you know what? You are special. You are a special snowflake. Your mama might still love you." But like, you're not going to earn anyone's respect. And I think you certainly won't earn the respect of the person that matters most, which is you.
1:20Cuz you'll always know that you could have done more, that you could have done better. That's the one that keeps me up. I have a saying that I tell myself a lot when I'm doing something that I don't want to do. And it's I will do what is required. It's not about doing your best. It's about doing what's required because what's required might be better than your best is right now. But the good news is that your best can get better. Real quick, I'm going to show you the exact 10stage road map from zero to 100 million plus that less than 1% of companies finish. I've now done multiple times. And so I can say with a lot of confidence that these are the stages as headcount increases that you need to get through. And I broke each of these down by eight different functions of the business. What the constraint feels like, like, what are the symptoms of it when you're going through it, and then what steps we actually took to graduate.
2:03And we've done this across software, physical products, uh, service businesses, brickandmortar, all of this. And it works. And it's my gift to you. It's absolutely free. And so the link's in the description, but you just go acquisition.comroadmap. Just enter your info and it'll spit it right back to you. Offering.
