Was du mitnimmst

0:00Uh, hey Alex, how do I learn to be articulate and charismatic? Thanks, man. Um, I often stumble over my words and freeze up in conversation. Cold calling is very daunting to me. All right, let's be real. Hold on, this will be good. This will be worth it. This will be fun. This will be fun. This will be good. All right, hold on.

0:24All right, ready for this? You guys ready? Okay. See if you guys can hear this. Let's see if my my Wi-Fi actually works. And ladies, welcome back to the second video. Um, so I just wanted to go over what we're going over today. First thing, just to recap the last time. So, lay on your back. On the back of your arms and on your stomach, this causes for excess toxins in your body when you have a surplus of calories. All right, so these are the things that we need to do with So, today we'll be covering blood flow. Now, you tend to not be able to get rid of the fat on your backs. The back of your

1:01>> Are you [ __ ] kidding me? Of course you're going to suck. You practice, you do it again. You do it again. That was a piece of content that I made 16 years ago or whatever it was, at my gym. And I was explaining how fat calories worked or whatever I was saying, right? And does that sound Does that Does that sound like banger content to you? Probably not. Did I sound charismatic there? Probably not. Did I sound articulate?

1:26Certainly not. Right? It's like you just got to try, you got to start. And like think about it, it's like I have a lot of reps here. So, I'll tell you I'll tell you a story that might make sense for you. I have been making ads. And I'm talking like 50 ads or more per week myself, not my companies, me for 14 years.

1:53So, 50 ads a week is 2,500 ads a year times 14 years I've made 25,000 30,000 ads. And so we were like, man, and my team knows this. It's like, man, just put the camera on. Just tell like Alex what the what the hook or the angle is and then he'll just like he'll just go. It's like, right? When you do something 30 thousand times you get decent at it.

2:18And so this is like I get I get I get I get attacked publicly for saying this stuff, but like you have to do a lot more than you think you do. And you have to do it for a lot longer than you think you're going to have to do it for. And you're going to get paid way less than you think you're going to get paid for a much longer period of time than you expect. And it is still worth it. It just takes a while. And it's because like you're just not that good yet.

2:44And there's a reason that income goes like this, right? For a very long time and you keep getting better and better and better, but your income still barely moves. And it's because it's at the very end is where you get all the returns. Right? A lot of markets are winner take all. And so in order to be the winner who takes all, and I'm not saying I'm that guy, but I'm saying in order to at least start getting up this curve, you got to be better than a lot of people. But this is the good news.

3:1090% of people don't even start. And I think the podcast metric is one of the most famous one cited for this, but I think it's so important. Many people want a podcast. Almost no one starts. Of the people who start, 90% do not make it past the 20th episode. 20. I said I just did 30,000 ads. Let me give you an idea to like think about this for a second. One. Two. Three. Four.

3:36Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. 10. See how boring that is? Now count to 30,000. And that is still not as long as I've actually made ads because ads take longer than the time it takes to say a number. That is how many ads I've done. And so like you have to practice to get better and you have to do a lot of reps to practice.

4:01So I don't know how to do this faster. If you are a business owner and you are not growing as fast as you like, I'd like to give you a free gift. So my team and I put together the $100 scaling road map, which is basically 200 hours of us looking over all the portfolio companies we've had and what stages of growth they went through and more importantly where they got stuck and how they got past it. And so we broke it in these 10 stages and we made this little kind of quiz thing where if you put in your business information, it'll tell you where you're at and the most important part for you, what to do for each of functions of the business across product, marketing, sales, customer success, recruiting, IT, human resources and finance. And so no matter what you're struggling with, someone else has already struggled with it and solved it. And so I'd like to give you this thing absolutely free. You can go to acquisition.com/roadmap, plug in your business information and if you want us to actually help you deconstruct the business and you're trying to scale, we'd love to help you out. On the thank you page you can book a call with my team and we will look at the business, see if we can help and if we can, we'll invite you out to Vegas and we'll do this in person live.
