0:00If content was your business, how would you scale? >> Um, can you ask a question differently? If you were to monetize >> Mhm. >> through the content, let's just say AdSense solely. >> Yeah. >> What would you be doing differently, if anything? Um, aside from maybe just more volume. um I probably wouldn't be going after a tiny slice of a segment, which is what I go after. So, business owners, it's like 9% of America owns a business.

0:34Of the 9% of America that owns a business, only 5% are over a million dollars a year. Of the 5% that are over a million dollars a year, well, well, I guess of the nine, you know, the 9%. So, one out of 250 makes it to $10 million a year. One out of roughly 2,500 makes it to $100 million a year. So like it's a very small slice of the pie that I make my content for. And so by its very nature, I don't get massive distribution. I get decent distribution, but not like not like an entertainer might. Um, and so if I wanted to make only making money from media, my own thing, then I would do super super broad uh topics and things that are just human-based. And I mean that would basically be it, right? You just pick a topic that that transcends all races, all cultures, all people. And entertainment is the easiest one because everyone wants to laugh. Everyone wants to be distracted. Um, and so that's why entertainers will always be bigger than educators as a category. Real quick, if you're a business owner and you are not growing as fast as you'd like, I'd like to give you a free gift. So my team and I put together the $100 million scaling roadmap, which is basically 200 hours of us looking over all the portfolio companies we've had and what stages of growth they went through and more importantly where they got stuck and how they got past it. And so we broke it into these 10 stages and we made this little kind of quiz thing where if you put in your business information, it'll tell you where you're at and the most important part for you, what to do for each of the business across product, marketing, sales, customer success, recruiting, IT, human resources, and finance. And so no matter what you're struggling with, someone else has already struggled with it and solved it.

2:08And so I'd like to give you this thing absolutely free. You can go to acquisition.com/roadmap, plug in your business information, and if you want us to actually help you deconrain the business and you're trying to scale, we'd love to help you out. On the thank you page, you can just book a call with my team and we will look at the business, see if we can help, and if we can, we'll invite you out to Vegas and we'll do this in person live.
