Here's my take on being financially free.

0:00People think they need to save a certain amount of money in order to be financially free. But the way that you're financially free is that you do something that you like that makes you money so that whatever you're doing that you would normally do just earns you something because you're not going to ever just not do something and lay in bed all day. You're going to do something. And so if you can monetize a thing that you would already be doing, then you have essentially retired because you're just getting paid for the stuff that you'd already be spending your time doing. If you had a million dollars or $10 million, it doesn't really matter because you will work until you die. Hopefully, more realistically, you will spend time doing things that you enjoy.
