Was du mitnimmst
- Bevor man überlegt, was man mit KI automatisiert, sollte man erst klären, was das Wachstum aktuell wirklich bremst.

0:00From all the things that a small business owner can implement with AI, what should I focus on doing first with my medical practice? Well, there's I have like nine more questions from that. So, like what do you want to do? Like what's the goal? Yeah, so there is so much so much stuff that you can do with with AI like like semi-automation building making more bringing more ideas making more content there is so much that you can do that I get a little bit distracted from what I actually should do. Yeah.
0:37Well, the rules of prioritization still apply. Which is there is still something that you're currently not doing that you should be doing that is constraining the business. Right? And so, this is less of an AI question. This is a strategy question. So, what is preventing you from doing more? Well, um Good question.
1:03I I think it's time constraint. It's I'm I'm it's a little bit between between two points. At one point it's getting more more leads in, but on the other side there is so much so less slots that that leads can come into that I will have very soon also have a fulfillment issue so to say.
1:29And I want to have some better quality help for my clients let's say in the in the after sales in the back end in the nurturing process, but I don't have the time to actually do that so to say. So, I think the problem maybe I Sorry? If you had more leads right now, could you handle it or not? Uh 10 20% and then then I would be at maximum capacity.
1:56Okay. Is is you not having capacity preventing you from advertising more? Uh yeah. So, yeah. At at this moment yes. Okay, then what stops you from increasing your capacity? Um there are no medical specialists in the Netherlands available as of I don't know how to recruit them so to say.
2:19Okay. Um and it's a very small niche with people with there are not a lot of podiatrists in the Netherlands with diplomas I can hire. Okay. So, do you think you're screwed? Uh in in the in in in in in the sense maybe I I I need to move from the Netherlands to to another country to >> To no. get more more leads. >> answer. That's not the answer. >> [laughter]
2:43>> You think you're the you're the only person there's no podiatrist in all of Netherlands that you could find and hire? None? It's it's well, I I tried for a couple of years already and I already tried for a couple of years. >> try. Like you've wanted it for a lot of years? What have you done to try? Well, I >> I'm going to win this one. I'm just letting you know. >> [laughter]
3:08>> Sorry? I said I'm going to win this one. Okay, what have you done to try? >> I um I I hired so every year I in the last couple of years every different quarter I tried to hire a different recruitment bureau paying a couple of thousand bucks and asked them from do whatever it takes this is I need a podiatrist and I'm willing to pay let's say 20 to 40% more for part-time or full-time. So, I I let it very very broad and um they tried and all the recruitment bureaus came with the same problem from we tried to find anybody we even tried podiatrist that work somewhere else at other practices. We message them through LinkedIn or whatnot and people are are are not willing to to switch places and I thought well, that's it. So, let's let's find out why. Why do you think they're not willing to switch places?
4:06I I think they're very comfortable where they where they are. I think or they they don't know me and I think maybe that that's the that's that that would be probably the next step for me to build a real brand from for my practice. I mean, dude we're trying to I think you're trying to kill a kill a mosquito with a cannon. Right? Like right now is it are you are you are you offering anything superior to their existing employment? Um outside of more than higher payment not really.
4:34>> How much higher? Uh 30 30 40%. Do you offer relocation bonuses? Um no not yet. Okay. >> No, not yet. Right. And so, we need to have more incentives for them. I do think 30 to 40% I'm surprised that so no one's even willing to take an interview with you? Zero? Mhm. It doesn't sound realistic to me. >> Sure. Sure. It doesn't sound real it's just like it doesn't sound probable to me.
5:00Like I I just don't know if I even buy that. If you have a 30% to 40% increase in pay and you offer a relocation benefit and they're not willing to take an interview and in the Netherlands no one makes money anyways. So, like cuz the taxes are so absurd. Like that seems No, I know. I know it is. Um I've got family there. Um uh that seems that seems not reasonable to me. So, I don't know if the recruiting firms just like took the couple thousand bucks that you said, you know, that you paid them or whatever. I don't know how good they were, but functionally like you just need to reach out. Like I'd be one I'd be running LinkedIn ad you know, LinkedIn ads. I'd be running Indeed ads.
5:40I'd be doing outreach. If everything if if the thing that is limiting my business is this one thing, you have to hit it with an atomic bomb. We can't just do like 10% effort. Like if this is the thing I'm going to give you a little bit of context. This will be good for everybody. I So, recently we have some big big things coming up next year. And I took myself through the exact same questioning chain that I took you through which is like why can't I do more? I can't I do more because we don't have operational capacity. Where do specifically do not have operational capacity? In these functions. So, who do I need for the in these functions? I needed six C-suite executives. Do you know how hard finding six C-suite executives is? Extremely.
6:20And so, but that became clear that that was the thing that was limiting the business. And so, Leila, me, and Sheron spent the last 8 weeks basically all of our free time since the launch has been dedicated to getting those C-suite executives. And in 8 weeks we filled six C-suite roles. And if you think it's the brand, almost none of them knew who I was. Yeah.
6:46And so, I say that to say like are you like and I will use a quote that I really like from Leila which was like are you trying or are you moving mountains? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Cuz right now it's like you want That's the only thing that I don't know yet. Yes, like right now you want me to say yes, your excuse is valid. You're [ __ ] Your business will never grow. Accept failure.
7:13And I'm just not going to let you off with that. Of course there's a way to grow this business. Is there anyone in your market who has a bigger business than you? A couple. Yeah, yeah. Of course, dude. You of course it's just you of course you have people in the in the market with bigger business than you, right? Of course you do. And so, there's not they're not made of different flesh and blood than you are. They just did different stuff. So, we just got to go do that stuff. Now, it's also it's like you're talk like think about how many different attack vectors we have here, right? You've got Okay, well, let's look at internship programs.
7:43Let's look at all the people who are freshly graduating. Let's see if we can get them before they sign up. Let's look at all the people who are on the moving boards for moving other countries into the Netherlands who are podiatrists. Let's look at You know what I'm saying? Like there's so many different attack vectors. It's like you got to find one person podiatrist. Of course it's doable. It's like how bad do you want it? Yeah. That's true. >> You can do this, dude. >> That's true. There's no like you paid a couple recruiters that were probably mediocre. You paid them a few thousand dollars and nothing happened and it's like okay, that's why my business isn't growing like shrug.
8:12It's like how bad do you want this? >> Yeah. True. Yeah, that's that's a good one. Definitely definitely a new focus I I should really done. Rock and roll. Well, I appreciate you, man. And listen, give the relocation bonus. You do the outreach. You run Indeed ads. Um like you have to hit this with a bomb, right? You've got to blow the whole You've got to blow a hole in this wall. Not just like knock on the door.
8:39Yeah, definitely. And this isn't an AI question. This is a pure strategy question. I said yeah, this isn't an AI question. That's a strategy question. Yeah, so and then then then I have a second question and that's 100% more AI related because how should I divide my own time to learning and try to implement AI tools for my business to use? Like how what time of week or hours a week should you say you should dedicate dedicated to see if you can optimize it with AI?
9:11>> you I'll give you a tidbit. So, I would I would take 4 hours a week minimum. That's all one block. And I would set out to to eat with each block to do one thing. So, how can I automate or amplify one specific task that I do? And what's happened is as soon as you do that once you'll get better and better and better at it. But like you have to give yourself four maybe even 8 hours of like I'm going to do nothing. I'm going to lock myself in a room. I'm going to take zero distractions. I'm going to do it on a Sunday and I'm just going to I'm going to lock in. I'm going to figure out this one thing.
9:43And the first one will be the hardest and then it'll get easier and easier and easier and easier. Yeah. Got you. Yeah, perfect. >> That's how I've learned everything. When I learned how to build web pages I was like I got to learn how to do this. I just like locked myself in a room and I said, all I'm going to do is copy this web page that I saw that I liked and I said I'm just going to copy it and just make it on my own. And I thought it was going to take it hours and it took me like three. And I was like, "Oh my god." And so like, you know, it's just like people spend a very long time delaying pulling the thread. But as soon as you start pulling the thread, the pieces come together much easier. And people much dumber than you have figured this out. That's a promise.
10:15Perfect. Definitely going to work on that. So then I have my final question then like that then I like to go. >> Final question. Man, you got a triple you got a triple triple tap question here? You're good, man. Go on. >> Um so my So my last question is that how would you use AI to help to help the thinking process for generating more authentic ideas that can help the business stand more out in my specific industry? Yeah.
10:40So I'm going to save this answer for everybody because your answer the answer to this is the answer for everybody. Ask the AI that question. What prompt should I give you to help me in the ideation process of new business growth initiatives or whatever for my business? And then it will output a much better prompt for you. And then you can fill in the gaps and then you shoot it.
11:08Gotcha. Cool. >> All right. Perfect. Alex, you're you're absolutely amazing, man. Thank you so much for your time for everything that you do, man. >> No, you bet, dude. I appreciate you guys. Thank you. All right. Appreciate you, man. Thank you. Bye. Real quick, I'm going to show you the exact 10-stage roadmap from zero to 100 million plus that less than 1% of companies finish I've now done multiple times. And so I can say with a lot of confidence that these are the stages as headcount increases that you need to get through. And I broke each of these down by eight different functions of the business, what the constraint feels like, like what are the symptoms of it when you're going through it, and then what steps we actually took to graduate.
11:45And we've done this across software, physical products, uh service businesses, brick-and-mortar, all of this and it works. And it's my gift to you. It's absolutely free. And so the link's in the description. Just enter your info and it'll spit it right back to you. It's offered …
