0:00Obviously goals get to a billion. I think some people could argue valuation wise you're probably already there. I don't know if it's liquid or however you measure it, but um big picture next 10 years. I mean did you think you'd be here even five years ago? I mean this is is this on track or are you updating a 10-year sort of vision plan? Like what's what's >> I think I thought I would be around here around now. >> Okay. Um, I will say that I so this this so going into 2026, it's the first year in my life where making more money has not been my uh goal.
0:36>> So that's first time since I've been, you know, 18 or whatever. First time in my life. Um, and so I think the reason for that shift is that up until that point making more money, I had some argument of like what does this change about my life? what are the behaviors or conditions that change that make my life better? And at this point right now, I have very little or almost no incremental um return from money. And so now it's like there are other things that can improve my life more. And so that is where kind of some of the reshuffleling of priorities for me on a personal level um has come to to pass.
1:12and I think I can't remember his name who was on Zoom but um that that that little ism of like I have wanted to win the game of business for me not like everyone's in the game we're all players and the game will keep going um but I wanted to win for me but I don't want to only win the business game business is a game and there are many games within the larger context of the life game and I would prefer to win at life than just live win at business and so um my priorities have shifted towards towards balancing towards some of the other components of my life. Now, now some people would make the argument, oh, Alex realized the wrongs of his ways.
1:48It's like, why are we not allowed to just change our minds? Why am I not allowed to accomplish something and say, what would I like to do now and not that in some way um reverse or invalidate the path that it took to get here, you know? And so I'm I just accept that this is the next, you know, path. I think that I will make more money in the next five years than I did in my entire life put together times a lot. Um, a lot of it because a lot of the things are already in motion. And so kind of like I alluded to earlier, you know, school will probably be a 6 to8 billion company within 24 months. We already have the metrics. It's very straightforward from a math equation perspective of what needs to happen there. Um, acquisition.com will probably be a two to threeish in 24 to 36.
2:46Um, and so me getting more there is just not like I'm not going to be the richest man in the world. It's never been my goal. Um, and so it really has just come down to like what are the few things that affect my life in a positive way and how can I optimize around those things? And I'll give you a very tactical one, which is that I have given myself permission, and some of you may laugh at this, but like I've given myself permission to work out for as long as I want every day. And so I work out like two to two and a half hours almost every day of the week. And it is not good for my joints. It is not something that is like productive or biohacking. I do it because I like it.
3:21And I think at some point I was just like, I make too much [ __ ] money to not be able to work out when I want to work out. And so it just like kind of and I'd say that not in in a self-organizing way, but more so a ridiculous way yelling at myself for how dumb it is to not do that. So it's like, you know, some of you guys here make tons and tons of money. And you're like, I really wish I could work out longer, but I only have 45 minutes because I have work to do. And it's like work to do to do what? To make money. Why do we make the money? So that we have the freedom to do whatever we want to do. And so we're sacrificing our freedom in order to make money. It's like, well, that seems a bit stupid. Um, and I say this as somebody who's done it. So, I'm not saying that from a judgmental perspective. And so, um, I also can understand that I say this from the position that I'm currently at.
4:02[laughter] Right. Um, but this year was the year that we hit my number of what financially free meant for me. And everyone's different there. For some people it's 4 million, for some people it's 100 million, for some people it's a billion. Whatever that number is for you. Um, I think knowing when enough is enough is a really valuable thing. And I would say that most of my goals are very ambitious, but I also can recognize when enough is enough. So when I got to 245 pounds and I was jacked as hell and a bodybuilder, I was like, this is enough.
4:31Like I don't need to go more than this. Some people need to just keep getting bigger and more jacked forever. I don't have that. I have bigger goals than most people, but I have, I think, attainable goals. And so I had a bigger goal for what my net worth and financial goals were in terms of freedom, but I don't need to be the richest man in the world. And so anyways, the death creates clarity around the priorities that will mean or matter more to me now.
