Was du mitnimmst

0:00Very new to school, started community a week ago and I have three members currently. Congrats, three is the big number. That's what you have to get to. I'm an average Joe who has zero business experience or following and I'm aiming to earn my first dollars online, learn the basis of business and would build a helpful community around personal development. Great. What should I focus on my first one to four weeks? This is great, dude. This is very wholesome. Um the thing is is I would probably so personal development is very broad category. Uh and so I would probably niche down to one of the three P's that I was stating earlier. So you want to focus on some pain cuz it also make your messaging a lot easier in terms of like what people are solving. Just having a generic group around personal development when you have no crack track record, very tough sell, right? Now maybe some of the people who joined knew you already, etc. Um look at that. I wrote a whole article on this.
0:44There you go. >> [laughter] >> Yes, follow these steps in this. I think I I broke this down in in great in great detail. Um but the the big thing here is um just you're going to want to get narrow cuz it basically you can you're not going to you're not going to win against Tony Robbins. Like I just put it straight. Like you're not going to beat Tony Robbins at personal development. So try and beat Tony Robbins at people who are overcoming, you know, eating disorders who are men, right? And under the age of, you know, 25, whatever. But like that's something that you probably can beat Tony Robbins at. And so it's like you want to get more specific because you want to narrow the playing field that you're competing against.
1:19Over time you can go broader and broader. Um and so I don't think there's like there's a lot of people who are like you should niche down, you should you should go broad, you should go narrow. You can make more money going broad. I want to be very clear. You just got to be way better. And if you're just starting out, I would start the niche because it's easier to win. And then when you're when you win, then you can leverage that win into a slightly bigger win. And that's basically the path, right? Um I'll wrap on this but I think this is like if you just look at like my history, right? I first started I taught people how to get in shape cuz I got in shape, right? And then I had uh a gym business then I had many gyms uh that I owned on my own, and then gym owners who wanted to go from, you know, one location to multiple locations were like, "Hey, can you show me how?" I said, "Sure." So, then I ended up helping people do gyms. And then I started Gym Launch, which was a business that did that at scale. And so, then I had a national business. And then people who wanted to scale national business asked me out for help. And so, the idea is like, don't don't punch above your weight class. Right? Like, if I had started, like, "Hey, this is how you scale any business." and I just had my six local gyms, I don't think anyone would really give a what I had to say. I had to have the proof. And even when I scaled Gym Launch, people really didn't care until we sold it. And then they're like, "Oh, you're legit." Right? And so, like, you want to have the proof, which is going to be the biggest thing. And so, the narrower you get, the easier it is for you to have proof that you're credible.
