0:00How do I know what it is I really want to do with my life? [music] >> I would say two things. Is one, you need to try more. But number two is I think you create this almost impossible bar that you're trying to reach, which is that [music] how do I know this is what I want out of my life? It's like you're you're asking for whatever work or whatever job or business that you start to solve all of your problems of being a human. It's [music] putting too many demands on one thing. There are certain things that a business will provide to you that maybe something else can't. But trying to have it solve all of your needs, I think is is going to leave you wanting and thinking that there's something wrong with it when it's really just that you have the wrong expectations going into [music] it. If you think it's it has to be this good in order for it to be right, or I don't think this is what I want. I can promise [music] you there's things that happen in business every single day that I do not want. I also have a long-term perspective of delayed gratification [music] that there is bigger purpose to result of this work that I'm willing to suffer the short-term inconveniences. And number three, [music] lower your expectations of what wanting means and just think like, do I find this interesting? [music] My fourth recommendation here is ideally try and taste things that already make people a lot of money. If you're going to try a lot of things, try the ones that people are already paying for and then maybe find your interest there so you can get a little bit best of both worlds.
