0:00I'm not out here to inspire the next generation of golfers. I don't I'm not here to inspire somebody else to be the best player in the world because what's the point? You know, this is not a fulfilling life. It's it's fulfilling from the sense of accomplishment, but it's not fulfilling from a sense of like the deepest, you know, places of your heart. You know, there's a lot of people that make it to what they thought was going to fulfill them in life, and then you get there and all of a sudden you get to number one in the world, and then they're like, what's the point? Like I found the work to be the goal, which is, you know, you win, you get your two minutes, but [music] then he's back on the the greens, right? He's still working on his chip shots. He's still working on his drives, still working on his putting. And [music] I when I sold our company, that was kind of like what I worked through over that next year was [music] that I need to have goals worth pursuing. And uh there's two elements to that, which is like they have to be worth pursuing. Um and if you I think most of us look for something eternal because [music] uh we our lives are obviously finite and so we want to have some sort of you know legacy or impermanence but I think part of this is just the human condition. uh we are not here very long and um all of us on a long enough time horizon uh the elements [music] of who we are are forgotten and I think um everyone wrestles with that in their own way but uh for me I try [music] and do work that I find meaningful that helps other people out and that makes things [music] work for me and I would encourage you to think of what works for …
