The most expensive thing that you'll ever give away is equity because what you're giving away is a percentage of all your future earnings forever with no idea of how much that's going to be for a present value today. You have the ability to get $1,000. If you're going to partner with someone, they need to have money you don't have, they have to have skills you don't have, or they have to have some sort of distribution that you don't have and then you're the one who has the time and the effort. And so, no. This is where you managing your lifestyle and how you currently live, you work the extra shift, or you cut back on your spending so that you can have that extra cash to invest in this business of yours. You need a very small amount, so if this is meaningful for you, put some skin in the game, sacrifice some lifestyle, and go all in if this is actually really important to you.
