The platform is incentivized to distribute your content to as many people as possible to retain attention. I think it actually just comes down to a quality metric, which is how many times can you post good stuff? There is an Instagram page that's in Bollywood that posts 100 times a day and gets like 9 billion views. The thing is is that not the same people are going to see every post. And so right now, when you make a post, only 1 or 2% of your audience likely see it.
