0:00So, I'm walking around Vegas and a guy pulls up to me looks like a sales guy. He's wearing the sales guy uniform, the haircut, the suit, the whole thing, right? And he's like, "Hey man, big fan of yours uh but, you know, I really took personally that you you know you took the the closer framework from me." And I was like, "Uh okay." And I just like kind of kept walking cuz I get stopped a lot and I was like, "All right, whatever." I then get a DM from the guy saying, "Hey, you know, just FYI, like it would have been nice if you'd like give me credit. It was actually something that I really hated you for a long time for stealing from me, but I'm you know, I've kind of come to terms with it." And I was like, "Bro, I didn't take from you." He's like, "Well, I've been teaching it since this date."

0:36And so, me being the that I am, I went and found the first video that I had in the closer framework, which guess what? I'm older than he is, and I had been teaching it to my sales guys 3 years prior to that. He ended up eating his words and being like, "Uh my bad. I'm sorry." And I was like, "But, dude, I don't care. Teach your thing." And the thing is is even if you had done it first and I had done it after you, but I did independently come up with it, who cares? You don't own the concept, and if you were better at it than me, then people would know it as yours.
