0:00Stop spending money. Try the 30-day buy nothing challenge. Just buy nothing. It's not a discount grocery store, don't buy it. That's it. Live in a place that you're dividing it up between lots of people so it's as low as humanly possible. And then spend the rest of your time learning skills and applying to jobs that will pay you more per unit of time you spend. And if you don't have the skills yet, go for the lowest version of that job and work your way up. And you work your way up cuz I've had a lot of people when they come up to me they say like, "What's the one thing you can tell me to move up quicker in my job?" Find the guy who's number one, look at what he does, and double it.
0:29Well, that guy works 10 hours a day, double it. Well, that means I'm working all day. Yeah. How do you expect to be better than him? He's already better than you. And when he works 10 hours a day, he does way more than you do cuz he's more skilled than you. So, you can't let that guy work more than you and be better than him. How do you think he got better? Cuz he works more than you. You've got to be Kobe and do three practices a day instead of two and let that 50% extra practice compound until eventually you're unbeatable, you're untouchable.
0:53You can't rely on luck. You have to become less liable.
