0:00All right. Josh O'Malley. Hey Alex, do you think you would ever pursue philosophy at some time in your life, maybe write a book on it? I think that if I I do have like a draft of a book that's kind of like my you know, my opus if you will, that I continue to contribute to. I don't think philosophy is something that you can like pursue. I think you have to like do other stuff. I mean, of course there's like professors of philosophy, I guess, but you know, it's kind of like Warren Buffett talked about this where like there's no wealthy economists. And so if someone's in an ivory tower, they're typically very disconnected from reality. And so I think the best economists are the best investors because they're the ones who are actually grounded in reality. And Warren Buffett tells the story of Keynes. He was one of the best economists or what most known economists. He tried to do investing based on his economic principles and failed miserably. And then eventually figured out what kind of Ben Graham and then eventually Warren Buffett did, which is like buy good companies at a fair price. And then he ended up making a decent amount of money.

0:58And so I think that if you are going to be in philosophy, then it really just means that you are So if you break down the word, philosophy means lover of wisdom. And I think you cannot be wise without living in the world. So I think that the best philosophy should come from people who are in it, who are practitioners of reality.
