0:00The biggest mistake I see 20-year-olds make when they're both in the gym and in business is that they try and max out too soon. They come in having a tiny bit of training experience. They worked out for 6 months, maybe a year, and they're like, "I want to max out. I want to max out. I want to see how much money I can get paid." But, the guys who become the biggest virtually never max out. Look at Olympic athletes. They max out every 4 years because they build the base first. And so, in your season of learning, rather than your season of earning, you're about building your work capacity. You're doing more volume.
0:26You're learning the game rather than trying to max out and show yourself what you're capable of. Because if you can hold off on showing yourself what you're capable of or the earning that you could get, you'll be able to earn so much more over a 4-year period, over a 10-year period, than if you try and max out today.
