0:00A Simony, I have a free community of developers with 300 members inside of it. How would you recommend monetizing between high ticket one-on-one monthly support or another paid school group with more courses than the free community? >> Yeah, I mean, first off, that's a great audience, right? There's there's for a number of reasons. One is that most developers make money, number one. Number two is that most developers have big job opportunities, which means they have both big spending power and big earn earning power. So, I mean, well, their spending power comes from their earning power. Uh, and so if you can help them with superior job placement, which I've seen a ton of coding boot camps murder, um, and you could do I mean, that would be one that you could price at like $9.99 per month, honestly. um in that community. Uh again, I think I would look at Farhoons as a as a model for like if you're doing anything in the job world. Um I would look at that as a good model to look at um for creating jobs for a niche. Um beyond that, you could offer them higher levels. So it really depends on are you it really depends on because this is where you're starting to get into subniches, right? So it's like developers are a big audience, but then is it I'm am I upleveling their skill set and am I upleveling their skill set?
1:14so that they can get a higher paying job. Am I teaching them Ruby Rails or am I teaching them Python or am I teaching them React so that they know so they can now earn three times the money. So it's really understanding what the end goal of the avatar is. And it might be worth just surveying your group like are you here just because you love coding? Are you here because you want to uplevel your skills? Are you here because you want to make more money or get a job? Are you here because like really asking those questions to find out what they mostly want? And then I would make my follow-on community about that.
1:45Yeah, there was a YouTuber that we helped monetize. His name was a lifeeng engineered. He had around 100,000 subscribers, all engineers, and his offer was speedrun to promotion. And he did 130k in 5 days just because the audience has so much money. >> Yeah, engineers have money. So that's the good news. Now, they are very analytical and so they tend to like ask more questions. And so I would recommend doing what I call a logical sale. Just stick to just stick to the facts. just say like this percentage of people who like know this language get this income like this is the delta if you see that as a good return on investment then this will make sense for you we graduate x% of people like just just spell it out and if it is black and white then I think believe it or not engineers if you make a logical argument will make a logical purchase they're also less likely to refund if they make a logical purchase …
