Was du mitnimmst

0:00I've started a financial freedom community and no nonsense financial management. Think Aussie Dave Ramsey. I'm wanting to give this away for free. Thoughts on giving this all the way for free instead of paid? I love it. I think it's fine. As long as you have a plan for what you're going to sell afterwards, I think it's totally good. Now, something worth looking at is so Dave Ramsey, just for everybody, I think has one of the most fascinating businesses because he has managed to be a guru and never be called a guru. And I think the big reason for that, and I think this is unique to the personal savings and personal finance space, is that if you save $2,000 a month on what you spend, no one will argue that you have $2,000 more per month. Like the claims are very, very like you don't have to substantiate the math. Now, if I say, "I'll help you make $2,000 more," there's a lot of risk to the fact that somebody might not do it. But if someone's making five and they're spending five and all of a sudden they start spending three, they've got two left over. Period. No one's going to fight that. And so, I think it makes makes claims a lot easier in that space, which is very unique with the savings space. Um, but if you look at his business model, he has four revenue streams. He's got um he's got media, which is his his biggest one. Um, I think he does 120 million a year on media. He said this in my podcast publicly, so I'm not I don't think I'm holding anything. He's he's got 300 million uh topline, which is what he said publicly. So, he's got 180 million left over between he's got an app that helps people, you know, save money. He's got coaching and he's got uh courses and events, right? And so those are his if you want to say maybe it's five say courses events are separate but like those are his things that he offers to monetize from his brand. And so uh what I would recommend so here's my here's my thousand IQ move for you. Give away all the info, right? And then sell the implementation. So that's selling helping them implement this which you can do at a low level with just remote remote one-on-one or remote one to many uh or remote semi-private which is what I'd probably encourage. It's the most profitable model in my opinion. So like one on six um you can almost build the same amount as you can oneonone. They stay they stay accountable. You 6x your income. It's a very good model uh for making money. And then you can sell an in-person experience or something like that. Because one of the things that I I found out um a while ago that really shocked me and it'll probably shock you is that you can sell the same information in a different medium for a different price. So let me walk you through this. So at the most extreme level you have I'm selling information or I'm giving away information and you might be might pay a PDF or whatever.

2:32It's cheap or free. Right now you might be able to do this in a live stream format with over eight weeks and it becomes kind of a coaching or implementation thing. It's remotely. Now if you do that in terms of a classroom in person then it becomes an even more valuable thing even if the information is the same. And I think a big part of that is the one the perceived likelihood that someone actually consumes it and and does it. If someone's going to show up they're going to watch it right they're going to consume all the information but most importantly they're going to be able to get their questions answered in real time. And I think that's a very very very valuable thing since that's one of people's biggest risks or concerns when it comes to will I get the thing that I want from this information. So I would encourage you guys to think about the medium that you're delivering your information in and you can put payw walls just for even the same concepts just in in a different delivery mechanism. Cool.
