Was du mitnimmst

0:00All of the big hair companies deal with the same issue you have, which is that they're all broke. So the highest price point that the majority of them will buy is about 4,000. And so what they have all done, the ones that make a lot of money, is that they sell them on the education and then they the back end is actually the product. And so they will say use our hair care or buy our extensions. I'll tell you the mistake I made, what I'm trying to help you avoid. So Prestige Labs is a supplement company for gym wash. I got the gyms in and then I was like, man, I could have a second recurring revenue stream on the back end if they sold my products through the brick and mortar, right? And that way, even if they don't want to do education or whatever anymore, they're still going to keep moving my product cuz I introduce it to them. The problem was the core economic of the business was still service.
0:46Whereas with hair, a lot of them can make more money on the products than they do on the cut and color or whatever the hell they do, right? And so the economics actually make more sense that the the products hair extensions become the core and then that's what makes it sticky. And so basically they pay $4,000 to get certified in whatever the hell. I'm just giving you the big model to get certified in whatever. And then one out of three of those people never stops buying product. And then that's the compounding back end. And so in 5 years it's like yeah we have you know 3,000 girls who buy 500 bucks a month in hair.
1:21It's like and there's the million dollars a month and it's super high margin. >> Yeah. The reoccurring in that nature. Totally 100%. Army of people who never stop selling. Yeah. Exactly. >> Focusing on education. >> I think you still educate. That's the front end cuz they want they have to learn the skill. It's just you want to get you see that as a it's it's offset CAC. So, it's like you're acquiring affiliates for people who sell product, hair, whatever, but you use the education to offset acquiring people who will then sell that for you. So, it's like, I'll break even on it. I'll lose money on it cuz I know I'm going to have my back end cuz one out of three is going to sell forever. And then you just blow as much money as you can through there. But big picture, you need a backend first because you're not going to be able to compete in the US because the guys will they'll out they'll outspend you because they have backends.
2:09So I think if I'm you, I think you need to build the second product so that you can get because that'll take you from 500 or whatever it is to one and a half two. Then you'll have you'll have the room because of cash flow to then make that move. >> Yeah. So it's probably a three step like if I like do this in steps or phases, it's like step one back end, steps two you can now spend more to acquire customers, step three go US.
2:34That makes sense. Oh dude, 100%. Thank you guys for coming up.
